The Good News
Why Is It Good News?
Good News only makes sense when you understand the story. Christianity is the story of what God has done for us through the person of Jesus Christ. Through Him, we can know God personally.
God Loves You
The story begins with God. He created you in His image for a relationship with Him. You are not an accident, but were made for a purpose.
Separated By Our Sin
We’ve all chosen to go our own way instead of God’s, leaving us separated from Him. This is the essence of sin. Even worse, there is nothing we can do to restore our relationship with Him.
Jesus Died In Our Place
God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ. Through His death on the cross and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and offers us forgiveness and eternal life. He is God’s only provision for our sin. Through Him, we can experience God’s love and purpose for our lives.
Trust in Jesus
It’s not enough to simply understand this Good News or know about Jesus. We must receive God’s grace by turning to Jesus in faith and trusting Him as our Savior and Lord.
New Life
When you turn from your sins and place your trust in Christ, you begin a personal relationship with God that brings forgiveness, purpose, and the hope of eternal life. This is Good News!
If you want to place your faith in Jesus, pray:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I received Your forgiveness and believe that You rose from the dead. I place my life in Your hands and give You control. Help me follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.”
